Most of you already know that Microsoft has launched its new OS this October. But the question is why leave the much successful Windows 7 for Windows 8. So I am going to tell you that why you will choose Windows 8 over Windows 7.
1. Much faster booting : Microsoft has finally listen to us. We all know that Windows take time to boot up . Probably 30 sec to 1 minute. But in windows 8 the maximum time to boot up 15 secs. Yes you read it write and its not a typing error. Windows 8 take up to 15 secs to boot up. It is almost half the time Windows 7 or XP takes in booting.
2. The Replaced start menu : They say "everything has a first time". That applies to Windows too. Microsoft has taken a big risk by replacing the whole start menu with start screen. I would say it paid off for Microsoft. The start screen is a whole new experience for Windows users. It can attract many people towards Windows 8. Its the main center of attraction in Windows 8.
3. Windows Syncing Ability: Microsoft has enabled syncing settings. It means whenever you connect your Live account to any other device running on Windows 8. It automatically transfers your settings used on your any other device to the device your currently using. So its always your specified setting where ever you connect your account.
4. Windows Store : Microsoft has introduced a new store for Windows 8. There you can find any app. For listening music, utility , games and app of every genre. This is the first time Microsoft has introduced a inbuilt store for users. This feature is a head on Windows 7. This feature was also much awaited in Windows 8.
5. Store App: The apps which comes per-installed or you install are designed for the metro look of the start menu. So when ever you leave your desktop you get a whole new windows experience. And let me let you its a awesome experience. I loved it and I think you will love it too.

That's why Microsoft introduced apps in which you add your social accounts and then you get all updates at once. Mail app let you connect all your mail accounts and you get all your mails at one place. No need to open different websites. Best part is that you can view them offline too.
8. More For You: With this I mean its made for you. Once you have its all yours. I mean that its features runs on your command. A lot of various kind of start screen backgrounds which reflects you.

9. Microsoft's Reputation: We all know what is the reputation of Microsoft .It had kept its bar high with every OS release. Like after XP they launched Vista which was very advanced. But after Windows 7 everyone was eager to see what is next. Now Microsoft has set its bar very high with Windows 8.
10. New GUI But Old Shortcuts: Microsoft may have changed the Graphical User Interface of Start menu but they have not changed the basic shortcuts. So it makes it easy to adjust with new GUI.
Microsoft has also removed aero effects. Trust me it still looks beautiful. Firstly your eyes may feel a change but in 1 hour you will be habitual to the change.
